IMAGINE PEACE TOWER documentary
IMAGINE PEACE TOWER will next be lit for the first week of spring (March 21st -28th 2011), from 2 hours after sunset until midnight.
After that it will then be lit from October 9th – December 8th 2011 and December 21st – 31st 2011.

What an absolutely beautiful way for expressing peace in our world! It is breathtakingly beautiful in its simplicity and power at the same time! Thank you, Yoko for continuing to tell both John’s story as well as your story for the deep desire for world peace! Maybe we need to have more of these peace towers built and lit around the world as a constant reminder that peace is beautiful and to be striven for 24/7! Hi, I am Sam Schafer, I am 13, and my role model is the one and only, John Lennon. Since I was little, I have loved The Beatles, I came downstairs and saw my mom and dad watching Yellow Submarine and watched with them. When it was over I asked my parents all about them. When they told two were dead, I was sad to hear that the one that I found most interesting in the movie was shot. A few years later, learned to play the piano, because I wish I could become musician like John Lennon. That wish still is what I would wish today, I am releasing a 13 song album (mostly covers) in memory of John Lennon, I could not called it Imagine of course because that was already released by John, I’m calling it In Spite of All The Danger. I will become a musician for John Lennon, I will not stop trying until I succeed in this. John Lennon was dead more than 15 years before I was born, but he is still my idol, and he always will be. Thank you John Lennon, for everything.

THere is so much to envision in this world, we have to make little changes to create a big change and make our imagination (of peace, love, and unity) become reality!
for there is to much religion to insight war than there it to incite tolerance for we are all here to live on this earth and it is the only world we have to sooner that humans realise this the better off we will be for it should be as one world of many races of people and we are all hear to live and if we dont stop taking advantage of our great world it may just one day turn around a bite us on the ass if we dont look after it and learn to get along as on nation for all to live in peace and harmony but all people care about these days is money land and power rather living for one another and take care of oneanother and the great world we have got and for all our animals to live in peace with out crultie and disrepect the sooner the better

I loved the beatles but i love john’s solo stuff even more. I consider myself a forgiving person but i can’t seem to forgive Chapmen, i hope and pray he never sees the light of day. He took a wonderful man from us all. Peace and Love to you and yours Oko
I pray for the peace inside of me to build and end my life’s chapter of addiction and non-peace. I pray to begin anew within the light and bring it to others.
i am 13 years old and John would have to be my biggest idol he has had such an impact on my life!I am also probably one of the Beatles biggest fans ever since i discovered them after listening to my mums band play there songs. Because I’m such a huge fan at my age others my age think I’m strange and old fashioned but really all it is is that I’m a person that loved him, his music and his ways and i love him to much to care what others think. I want and strive for peace because of John and because his idea for world peace was something probably millions of people had been wanting to hear and waiting for! Although there is still so much corrupt activity going on today (which really shouldn’t be happening in this generation!) John and Yoko still had such an amazing impact on the world i mean its been over 20 years since John was alive and making music and yet kids of my generation love him to death like me. So thank you John i cant even describe how amazing you are and Yoko so sorry for the tragic loss you are also such an extraordinary person and you have done so much. You say some of the most beautiful and wisest things and John will never ever be forgotten and is missed so very much by so many, because really who is going to remember Justin Bieber in 30 years time? <3 <3 <3 peace to John, Yoko and the world!
